I'm Francois and I'm interested in how we build software. After years of freelancing on Rails and native mobile apps, I founded and crashed a startup in 2019. It was a fun, stressful and exciting experience but I'm now looking for a new opportunity.
I'm an avid learner and I don't mind diving into a new tech stack. I'm comfortable with Rails, Typescript, React, ObjC/Swift, Kotlin and more recently with Rust. Infrastucture wise I usually go with Postgres, Docker and Terraform. That does not mean that I haven't played with other stacks (e.g., Python, AWS, Ansible) but we have to draw the line somewhere.
I'm interested in systems and would love to dive lower in the stack. I'm also passionate about how developers and teams build software.
